Huffington Post SAT on Story To SAVE OBAMA Presidency

As we explore Obama's comments, lets also STORM THE WALLS of the Huffington Post who SAT ON THIS STORY, conveniently waited for a FRIDAY to send it out onto the internet. In short, explosive news was hidden, deliberately, by the Huffington Post because they knew the HARM IT WOULD DO to Obama, the reporter (an ardent Obama Supporter) admitted as much on CNN. Even after deciding that the NEWS MUST COME OUT, the Huffington Post waited till Friday to release it, knowing that the weekend release of this explosive information on Friday afternoon would greatly mitigate the damage done to Obama, do less harm to the Candidate! In short, the Huffington Post tried to manipulate and control the flow of information, sit on a MAJOR STORY and news to BENEFIT SENATOR OBAMA, and in doing so have SHAMED THEMSELVES, and brought into question their right to be a part of the blogging news community!

New Poll-Original Rockers Leaning Towards McCain-Not Surprising

Her Grades Were Not Good Enough to Get Her Into Princeton, but Her Brother's Basketball Skills and Affirmative Action Were Enough to Get Her In...Same With Harvard...She Got In Because of Reverse Discrimination That Set Aside a Seat Based On Her Skin Color. Can we say nepotism, reverse prejudice?
A recent poll by Jacobs Media's Media/Technology has found original rockers (think Led Zeppelin) are more likely to vote for John McCain...what they fail to address is the why of that choice. Simply stated, we are the generation that has been forced to pay the price of Affirmative Action, have been the ones who lost a job through no fault of our own, but because we were born with the wrong skin color, lost a seat at a university, or did not qualify for a grant or smll business loan, again because we were born WHITE.

Let's not kid ourselves, Obama's speech was horrid, and has popped a seething angry boil for many 45-60 year old white men who have paid the ultimate price for Affirmative Action, and the equal rights movement. We for some 35 plus years have been the victims of reverse racism, and Obama's calous remark , "typical white person" has many of us saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Couple that with his wife's anger, her lack of gratitude for the opportunity she was GIVEN, not opportunity she EARNED, and the Obama's are not going to win the White House if we have a say in the matter.

I am no different than many white blue collar workers...Hillary Clinton gets the nod to run in the fall, I vote Democratic, Obama gets the nod, and out of protest, John McCain gets my vote, John McCain gets my wife's vote. We are tired of paying the price for Affirmative Action, tired of being told to shut up while illegal aliens steal our jobs, tired of being treated as second class citizens.

Does the Press Want Obama To Win, or Afraid of The Race Issue? Obama is a LIAR.

Have The Democrats Become Obama Sheep, Like Evangelicals Were Bush's Sheep being Led To Slaughter?
First, let us be clear...Obama KNEW about Reverend Wrights bigoted, racist remarks. He even warned Obama way back almost 20 years ago when Obama wanted to join the church. He told Obama he was controversial, and if Obama was planning a political career it could cause problems for him. Simply stated, Obama is lying, will lie on the view when he tries to claim IGNORANCE. So, poor judgement, a liar, and someone that has no problems communing with a Black Bigot.

Yet, the press refuses to really go after Obama, or for that matter Jeremiah Wright. They have been very careful NOT TO LABEL Jeremiah Wright himself a racist. Further, they always preface their comments on Obama with things like, "Is it really fair to expect him to know everything his preacher said" as if they either A) want Obama to win the White House, or B) are afraid of treading in the deep waters of BLACK PREJUDICE against White people. Either way, they are doing a disservice to America.

Today on The View, Obama will again lie to America when he states, "I'm not vetting my minister."

Election Central raises the question, "Did he know?" Give me a break, I am not a reporter, and have found PLENTY of PROOF that Obama knew...I just find it said that the press does have the balls to go after the story, endorses a double standard wherein Black Prejudice is acceptable, but White Prejudice is not.

How Many Free Passes Does Obama Get on Racist Reverend Wright?

FUCK YOU, I AM NOT DENOUCING MY FRIEND!
So lets set aside for the minute that Obama called us to have THE GREAT TALK ON RACE, and then went off on vacation, trying to hide from the Reverend Wright/Otis Moss III BIGOT scandal. Forget that Obama has failed miserably in laying out a framework for this GREAT TALK ON RACE, seems to feel Whites should shut up and listen, while Blacks bitch about past sins. Lets get to reality...Obama has admitted that he sat in the pew and HEARD controversial remarks made by Reverend Wright. Again, we have more racist remarks coming to the surface that have been spoken by, or printed by Racist Jeremiah Wright, yet Obama like a boy not weaned from his mother's nipple insists STANDING BY HIS MAN.

Garlic nosed Italians? False accusations against the Jews, accusing Whites of causing aides in the black Community, insinuating that 911 was deserved, yet Obama insists on keeping Wright as a friend, insists on defending the church from which this hate speech has come...speaks ill of his judgement, and yet the press is not going after him, insists on TAMPING DOWN THE SCANDAL, afraid they might KILL THE GREAT BLACK HOPE...come on, if those comments had come from a white man, if Obama insisted on standing by the white man his career would be over. Stop the double standards...Obama is embracing as a friend, as a mentor a bigot...that is the story.

Senator Obama's Hate Spewing Minister Silenced As He Should Be!

Well, Senator Obama may not have the balls to stand up and leave a church when its minister spews forth hate speech, but in Tampa someone had the balls to pull the plug on the Un-Right Jeremiah Wright's first public appearance since the scandal broke...in the meantime, the spineless Senator Obama who has laid low rather than address Otis Moss III's race baiting comments in his Easter Sunday sermon is supposed to be back out on the campaign tral tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if the media (especially CNN) continues to give him what amounts to a free ride...one not so great speech on racial tensions and now they want to bury the topic...HORSESHIT.

TAMPA — The first public appearance of Barack Obama's controversial pastor since his inflammatory comments rocked the presidential campaign was abruptly called off Tuesday.

The cancellation of Jeremiah Wright's appearance at a church revival meeting here came as Obama's Democratic rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton, delivered her most pointed criticism to date about the issue.

At a news conference in Greensburg, Pa., Clinton said she would have left the church had her minister said the things about America that Obama's pastor has. "I think that, given all we have heard and seen, he would not have been my pastor," she said. Her comments represent a departure from her previous silence over the furor.

Wright's sermons have included blistering attacks on government policy. In one sermon, lamenting the treatment of blacks, he said: "God d--- America for treating our citizens as far less than human."

If Obama Democratic Choice, It Is Time To Boycott Fall Election

The big worry for Republicans was that their base would stay home this fall, simply not vote as way of protest. No one gave Senator McCain or any other candidate any realistic chance of winning the White House...Senator Obama, his close ties to a racist church and pastor have changed that. In a race that was ours to lose, the Democratic Party is finding a way to snatch defeat from the hands of Victory. Obama could have stood for something by standing up against hate speech, but instead he choose to stand with his Black Community, his Black Church, and a racist, bigoted preacher who has spewed hate speech from the pulpit. In that singular act, he has destroyed his chances to win in the General Election.

Which begs the question, is it time for many of us in the Democratic Party to stay home this fall, boycott a wrong choice? That is a choice each of us will have to make, but one I have made. If Obama recieves the Democratic Nomination, I will not vote for him, will employ my blogging skills to keep him out of the White House. His "typical white person" remark was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back, cemented my decision NOT TO BACK HIM, even if it means giving the Republicans four more years. Another deciding factor...his opposition of Michigan's rightful attempt to end Affirmative Action coupled with his refusal to let Michigan hold a new primary. A month ago I was one of those people content to support either of the two major candidates in the fall...not any more.

If the Democratic National Committee, the super delegates want to win the White House, there is only one logical choice, and that choice is Hillary Clinton. Any other choice will see a massive boycott of the fall election process, and I will be one of those voters not supporting the Democratic ticket.

Obama, Our Next White President-Why Not?

Obama can identify with his Blackness all he wants, attend the Trinity Church of Christ, and it does not change a very real reality...He is as much White as he is Black, is just as much our next White President as he is our next Black president. Perhaps to show he really is above race, he should stop self identifying as Black, and begin self Identifying as White...after all, if we are all equal, if we need to put away our hatreds, then why can't he be White part of the time, and Black part of the time? If Obama is half White, why is it that the Black Community gets to claim him as their own? Wasn't it the Black Community that was originally claiming he was not Black Enough? If he were suddenly embracing his White side, would they suddenly stop supportinng him in the fashion they have been supporting him, and if so what does that say about their own communities prejudices?

Just think in fairness to all Americans we should share Obama...the Black Community can have him on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, the White Community can have him on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with him alternating on Sundays between a White Church, and a Black Church. This way, all citizens of America can feel comfortable with the fact that he understands the White Church just as much as he claims to understand the Black Church. We can believe he truly understands the White pain as much as he understands the Black pain.

Don't see why such an arrangement could not work, that is unless the Black Community were afraid such an arrangement would risk Obama being disloyal to his Black Community. Is there any reason they would not trust a White Obama for President, after all, he would still be the same Obama...right?

Wright Victim of Lynching! So Says Obama's Church Minister!

Holy MOLY, Easter Sunday at Trinity Church of Christ, and Otis Moss III is all full of piss and vinegar, delivers a SCATHING race baiting sermon accusing the media of LYNCHING the dear Reverend Wright. Hate spewing Reverend Wright's replacement let America hear that BLACK ANGER he admits exists, compared Reverend Wright to Jesus, stating he faces the same kind of challenges, and continued on, stating "No one should end their ministry with lynching"...no race baiting there now is there?

From FOX:

In Easter Sermon, New Obama Pastor Charges Rev. Wright Victim of
‘Lynching’
Click Title for Rest of Article

Will be interesting to see what Obama has to say about this most recent episode of reverse racism, listen as he explains how the press coverage of the event amounted to a LYNCHING! I really want to hear Obama defend his remaining with the church under a SECOND RACIST MINISTER...I know, we don't understand the Black Church experience? In the meantime, Political Dirt encourages all Americans to begin the discussion by contacting the Trinity United Church of Christ with your views on this latest sermon (hate speech).

Some links and mini articles on Otis Moss III
Yesterday, Dr. Rev. Otis Moss, III spoke in Washington, DC in honor of Black History Month. The event, a joint production of the Democratic National Committee's American Majority Partnership and Faith In Action team was entitled "Engaging a New Generation of Prophetic Leadership." It was a truly a remarkable speech that discussed the intergenerational dynamics of political activism within the Black Church Community. Reverend Moss spoke with great passion about the challenges facing the faith community in the years ahead as politics and time change circumstances. You can watch the video below, about 50 minutes in its entirety, and completely engaging.

Rev. Moss is quite the orator. Go check him out.

Barack brings a vision born outside of the historical emotional trappings of “slavery in American and Jim Crow lynchings”.

Otis Moss III: Rooted in Africa and Christianity

Senator Barack Obama is a longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ (UCC) in Chicago. The church describes itself as "unashamedly Black and unapologetically Christian" and embraces what it calls an "Africentric" theology. Over the past year, Trinity UCC and its pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, have come under fire from conservative bloggers and pundits. Wright is retiring and Rev. Otis Moss III is assuming his pastoral duties. Moss responds to the barrage of criticism his church has faced and says it won't affect his ministry.

Rev. Otis Moss III

Otis%20Moss%20III.jpgNamed by the African American Pulpit Journal as one of “20 to watch” ministers who will shape the future of the African American Church, Rev. Otis Moss, III, seems to be doing just that. Presidential candidate Barack Obama is a member of his congregation and Oprah Winfrey has attended his church. But Rev. Moss, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, sees all parishioners as vital and is championing an intergenerational ministry. In this conversation with the Rev. Dr. Joan Brown Campbell, director of religion at Chautauqua, Otis Moss talks candidly about family tragedies, the influence he felt from his father, famed civil-rights leader Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, Jr., and of his parents’ friendship with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Disagreeing on Obama Speech

Just finished reading a post by Chris Durango over on the Huffington Post that I completely disagree with. His take on Obama's speech completely different than mine. He states right out the following:

The Reverend Wright homilies were very disturbing, no question.

I thought Barack Obama's speech, which finished just minutes ago, was brilliant, nuanced, healing and shows him to be incredibly worthy as a candidate. I hope America is interested enough in progress to embrace this man. We would be lucky, very lucky, to have him as a president. If you didn't see the speech, please seek it out.

It surprises me that two people could read totally different things from Obama's speech, come to two different conclusions. The events leading up to the speech, the speech itself, coupled with Obama's "Typical white person" comment later in the week have convinced me that Obama is a closet racist, has no business whatsoever leading America as our next President.

First, Obama was VERY CAREFUL not to label Jeremiah Wright's words for what they are, hate speech. Next, in the days since his supposedly great speech, other than his racist comment, "typical white person", despite a full hour on Larry King, Obama has failed to lay out a menu for this talk he wants to have, but instead has suggested to America that White's need to listen, and Blacks need to be given a platform for their grievances. He has failed to call for an end to the double standards and reverse discrimination that is Affirmative Action, failed to state clearly and distinctly that it is time for black people to end their own prejudice.

As a liberal thinking person who supports equal rights, freedom of choice, gay marriage and most every other agenda of the Democratic Party, I have no interest in a one way conversation, no interest in a man that refuses to rebuke someone that clearly spoke hate speech in his presense. Obama needs to decide which is more important...his converation with America about this issue, or preserving his reputation and standing in the Black Community. He cannot play moderator of this debate, this discussion, while at the same time trying to apease his own community in the hopes of preserving his Black Voting Block.

If Democrats hand the Presidential Candidacy to Obama, we will have effectively given the White House over to John McCain and a third Bush term.

Why Democrats Cannot Pick Obama

For those Democrats failing to grasp the severity of the sordid Jeremiah Wright debackle, I share this from a Republican blog. With this kind of a post this early, trust me, the Republicans are now licking their chops at the thought of taking on Senator Obama in the fall.

Rachel Lucas, supergenius:

You want equality, then take it, on all levels.

That means when Obama uses the phrase “typical white person”, he deserves to have his figurative ass kicked just like Whitey’s figurative ass would be kicked for saying “typical black person”. It means Reverend Wright is an asshole of a racist just like David Duke. Play fair or don’t play at all.

Blogging was a lesser phenomenon when she quit, and it is better for her return. Read the whole thing.

Bottom line: Obama intentionally used the phrase, and it is racist...or racially charged, at the very least. It would never be acceptable for me to use in in reference to him, therefore it should never be acceptable for him to use it in reference to me. Or anyone else.

Obama will not heal us or unite us or make us better people. He’s just another kind of “shut up and get in line” politician looking to shame people into letting him have power for a little while.

Whiner's in Obama Campaign Challenge Media To Elevate Discussion

Obama has now challenged the media to elevate the discussion, is accusing them of being focused on the hate filled words of Jeremiah Wright, the poor choice of words used by both himself and his wife, rather than having a talk about racism wherein White people are educated about the pain of the Black people. One of his senior staffers was just on one of the Sunday Morning news shows saying it is wrong that we are so uneducated about the Black Church Experience, should be more tolerant of such sermons, are wrong for taking the Reverend Wright's statements out of content.
The gist of all this, is that the talk should be elevated away from the remarks, and focused on educating White people about the Black Experience, educating White people about the Black Church Experience. In short, seems Obama's vision of a discussion about race is first and foremost not to have him, or Reverend Wright's remarks included in it, and secondly, should primarily revolve around educating White's. That is NOT A DISCUSSION, that is a LECTURE.

There is NO NEED to hold a one sided conversation here in America. If, as Obama has called for, we are going to have a long overdue conversation on issues of race, prejudice and find a roadmap to a new United tomorrow, it is imperiative that all sides be heard, all sides held to the same standards in bringing the ugly truth out onto the coffee table of American households. Everyone knows that the Jeremiah Wright incident would have toppled a White politician, ended his or her career, yet where Obama is concerned, we seem to have a serious double standard, those who attack him, suggest he resign accused of being racists. Where is fairness in that double standard?

The Obama-Wright situation is not the only political scandal wherein we can see this double standard in play. Elliot Spitzer was run out of office for having an affair with a hooker, or more than one. Yet, his Black replacement for the highest office in the state of New York came before the camera's and admitted not just one affair, but numerous affairs including a threesome. Instead of being run out of office on a rail, he is being referred to by the newspapers as Governor Stud referring to his sexual prowess. In Detroit we have another Black mayor (Kilpatrick) guilty of sexual indiscretions who is playing the race card against those who are calling for his resignation from office. Give me a break, they have the text messages.

Equal rights and equality mean we treat all people regardless of color the same, have an ethical standard that all people are held too...yet, in politics as in life, it appears on the surface that Blacks expect to be held to a different standard, be given if you will a free pass for thier own indiscretions, their own wrongs. the second someone calls for their resignation, the race card gets played, whites are accused of being on a witch hunt to bring down a black man.

We can all agree that the discussion on race has to be held...but let us not limit one sides ability to be involved in that discussion, to air our own anger at a situation boiling and churning just below the surface of our society. If the Black community is allowed to call for the resignation of a politician for uttering a wrong word or phrase, then that same standard MUST BE UPHELD when a Black politician or those he is closely assoiciated with use racially charged hate speech against the White community. Hate speech is hate speech regardless of who spoke it, and if Wright's comments would have ended the career of a White politician, then it is only fair Obama's career be ended as well, isn't it?

Since Obama wants to elevate the conversation, since his staffers are out on the airwaves dictating terms of the discussion, thought it wise to find out what others feel should be on the table during this discussion about race. I'll start with my own list:

1. End to double standards. This includes such things as use of ugly words on all sides. The *N* word should not be used, but neither should Whitey, Honky, Hillbilly, Gringo and any other derogatory slang used to demean any segment of our society, including White people.

2. End reverse discrimination. You cannot ask people to set aside their discrimination or percieved discrimination while you yourself hold on to your own. Further, stop trying to make me feel guilty for the sins of my forebears. I heard a Black Political Pundit throw out a term the other day. Post Slavery Traumatic Disorder (PSTD) in justifying the Black Communities anger, in justifying their sense of entitlement. Not buying into that, am tired of being made to feel as if I owe you something, should make sacrifices in attaining my own American Dream to pay for sins I had nothing to do with.

3. End Affirmative Action wherein someone/any one recieves an advanatage based purely on their race, creed or sexual orientation. Let the best qualified man or woman have that job, or that spot on a college campus. Eliminate all financial aid and scholorships that are based on race. Stop all loans and government set asides for minority owned businesses...why should someone get special access to low interest business loans based on the color of their skin, or put another way, why should someone with a good business idea be denied funding because they are the wrong color. Some will want to deny it, but if there were a Small Business Loan program for disadvantaged White Men, set asides in government contracts for White Men, several factions in this nation would cry foul. (Women and almost all minorities included.)

4. Equity must be restored to our federal government when it comes to revitalization...there is far more spent on urban revitalization programs, while little attention is given to rural revitalization. What makes a blighted urban area more important than a blighted rural area?

5. Eliminate disparity in school funding by creating a National School Tax based on the number of children you have, instead of local school funding through property taxes. This singular act alone would eliminate the disparity in the quality of education, but is fought against by wealthy communities because they like having the BEST SCHOOLS for their pampered and priviledged children. People with large families like schools funded through property taxes, as it gives them a bargain priced education for their children...as example, my wife and I with no children pay the exact same property taxes as three houses on our block that have 14 children between them.

Lets have the talk, but do it in a way that gives ALL PARTIES a voice in the discussion.

Did Obama Campaign Deliberately Create Passport Scandal?

In yet another very ODD set of circumstances, it seems that an insider in the Obama campaign is intimately involved in the passport scandal that swept the Jeremiah Wright story off the front page.

John O. Brennan is president and CEO of Analysis Corporation, and also advises Senator Obama on intelligence and foreign policy matters. He donated $2,300 to Obama in January. This executive just happens to be a former member of the CIA (SPOOKS), and it is his employees that just happened to sneak a peak at Obama’s passport files. Brennan had briefed the media on behalf of the Obama campaign earlier this month.

Does not take a big stretch to believe that John O. Brennan, advisor to Obama, former member of the CIA, holding a contract that gave his company access to Obama’s file decided to provide the campaign an ace in the hole scandal for a rainy day…such as the Jeremiah Wright story that was quickly derailing his run for the presidency.

Another Racially Toned Mistake by Obama

Seems every time we turn around these days, the Obama camp is making mistake after mistake where the issue of racial relations are concerned. The latest political gaffe...seems staff was not paying enough attention to who posted what on their campaign web site, and it has cost them. Today staffers announced that they had removed the "New Black Panther" page from the site who has endorsed the candidate's run for the Presidency. Can Lulac and LaRaza be far behind? After all, he already has American Muslim's for Obama on his site, and if you follow some of the links from that site, it will make your eyebrows raise.

By the way, why is it that Anderson Cooper's 360 is censoring posts on his blog?

Pre Obama Speech Question for Everyone

On both CNN and FOX they have shown Obama at a news conference wherein he pushed off until tomorrow questions on the Jeremiah Wright situation, making two points.

1. He feels the press caricature of Jeremiah Wright is UNFAIR, and he hopes to change that, to DEFEND the man's character.

2. He feels the Black Community sees the situation, and Jeremiah Wright's statements far differently than the rest of us do, and he hopes to share with us how they see it (the statements), and the situations spoken about in Jeremiah Wright's hate speech.

So here is my question...if Obama has positioned himself as EVERYONE's candidate, rather than planning to chastise the rest of America by PREACHING DOWN TO US, as if we are the ones who are wrong in this mess, shouldn't he be speaking to the Black Community, explaining to them why Reverend Wright's bigoted, racist hate speech was and is so wrong?

Why Obama is a LIAR-The Jeremiah Wright Connection

As much as it saddens me, it seems that those who support Obama do so at all costs, are willing to ignore truths placed right before their eyes. Much as groups like La Raza does against those that speak up against illegal aliens, Obama followers seem quick to jump into any thread that paints Obama in a negative light and play the race card, accusing us of some sinister agenda against a black man, accusing us of carrying out some evil agenda of either Hillary Clinton or John McCain and the Republican Right. Watching the news I am disturbed that black political pundits are suggesting Obama’s disturbing connections to Jeremiah Wright should be allowed to die a natural death, even suggesting that we as “White People” are hearing things wrong, do not understand the “Black Perspective.” Funny, do not remember the Al Sharpton’s and Jesse Jackson’s of the world letting charges of white hate speech dying until after the offending party had lost their career.

Close your eyes, or pretend you do not know the ethnic origins of the parties involved in this brewing scandal that could take down Obama, potentially end not just his run for the Presidency, but his political career. If you heard Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s words, read them on a printed page, are they hate speech? It is a simple yes or no question, and if you answer yes, then should Reverend Wright, Senator Obama be held to the same standards of accountability that we hold our white politicians to? Do a cursory search of the internet, and there are numerous examples of fallen politicians, run out of our nation’s capital for far less offensive speech than we are hearing from the Reverend Wright’s lips.

Senator George Allen (R) was being pegged as the likely Republican Nominee to replace George W. Bush, and then he had his Macaca Moment of shame. What about Trent Lott as another example, or Imus and his ill placed nappy headed whore remarks? None of these should be condoned, but neither can we have a double standard because the politician is black. Some will say Jeremiah Wright’s words are not those of Obama, and this much is true…but, Obama has embraced both the comments and the man, then turned around and lied about it, hoping it will all just go away. It is at this point that the Obamaniacs start their howling, accuse me of being on a witchhunt, suggest I am out to ruin his career, even claim what I say is not true.

Time out, lets examine some FACTS. Obama claims that he wants to be a Uniter, wants America and its citizens to come together as one to solve our problems. Why then does he attend a church that has a long standing reputation as being a boiling cauldron of devision falling along racial lines? Reverend Jeremiah Wright was a controversial man long before Obama credited him as being the man who showed him Jesus, credited him with being “my spiritual mentor”, long before Barrack Obama wrote his book based on a Wright sermon, “The Audacity of Hope”. These realities, known facts easy to find show that Obama lies when he claims he was unaware of the controversy, unaware of Jereimiah Wright’s bigoted, racist hate filled speech.

As example, a regular part of the bread of life spewed forth from Wright’s pulpit of hate are expressions like, “white arrogance” and “the United States of White America.” Not exactly phrases that fit in with Barack Obama’s message of consensus based upon a platform of shared faith combined with bipartisanship in government. More importantly, we know Obama has been in the pews when certain hate speech was delivered, such as on July 22, 2007 when both of the above phrases were peppered at the audience. Perhaps Obama should have taken a cue from Oprah, once a congregant, who distanced herself from both the church and the man.

Obama has been attending the “Trinity Church of Christ”, building a strong personal relationship with Jeremiah Wright since the 80’s when the skeptical Obama became a community organizer in the Chicago area, their friendship spanning decades. You can find numerous examples of Obama’s praise of the man, and his message, many of them written or spoken by Obama himself. Obama credits Wright with converting him to Christianity, yet would have us believe he had no clue of the hateful bigoted racist remarks attributed to Jeremiah Wright? Does a Harvard graduate, the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review expects us to be so naïve? Consider this:

Obama easily shares the story of how Jeremiah Wright took him on a spiritual journey where he came to know Jesus Christ.

Obama has described himself as a close disciple and personal friend of Jeremiah Wright.

Wright conducted the marriage ceremony when Barack married his wife Michelle.

Jeremiah Wright personally baptised the Obama daughters.

Obama had Jeremiah Wright bless his Chicago home.

“Audacity of Hope” is based on a Jeremiah Wright sermon, takes its title from it.

These are inconvenient truths for Barack Obama, and perhaps for the black community. It lends validity to our call for a full rebuke of Jeremiah Wright, a complete severing of Obama’s relationship with the man, and the church. That creates problems for Barack, because in his community Jeremiah Wright has done no wrong, is a well respected even revered man of god. Could potentially see a major segment of the Black Community abandon Barack, withdraw their support from his campaign.

Unfortunately, this scandal has exposed a very ugly truth…not all, but many blacks themselves are guilty of the same sin they accuse whites of…RACISM in all of its ugly truth. This tragic set of events, Jeremiah Wright’s ugliness has exposed a horrendous double standard wherein it is the black community guilty of demanding equality while deny that same gift to others. It raises the question, how can we have racial equality and justice for all when hatred and separation are being preached from the pulpit of America’s Black Churches? More important, how can we believe Barack Obama’s message of oneness, of inclusion when he embraces a church and a minister that embraces and ministers hate of all things white? There is a simple truth in life, it takes two people to fight, but it also takes two people to heal.

Obama cannot serve two masters, cannot be America’s President without facing this problem head on, and honestly…so far, he has done neither. To address any issue, to become a better person we must first be honest with ourself…Obama is lying when he claims no prior knowledge, there are too many examples of Wright’s controversy that have caught the attention of the American Media:

Wright on 9/11: "White America got their wake-up call after 9/11. White America and the Western world came to realize people of color had not gone away, faded in the woodwork, or just disappeared as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns." On the Sunday after the attacks, Dr. Wright blamed America.

Wright on the disappearance of Natalee Holloway: "Black women are being raped daily in Africa. One white girl from Alabama gets drunk at a graduation trip to Aruba, goes off and gives it up while in a foreign country and that stays in the news for months."

Wright on Israel: "The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism."

These are all examples of Jeremiah Wright’s hate speech spoken before Obama had invited the man to give the opening remarks the day he announced his presidency…an invite rescinded on the advice of senior staffers. Eyebrow raising and controversy are Wright’s calling card, have been since 1984 when he visited Muammar Gaddafi three years after Libyan fighter jets fired on US aircraft in International Waters, and four years before the Libyan bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. These facts, these examples of hate speech make Obama look stupid when he claims ignorance, bring into question his ability to be a Senator, let alone our next president.

Instead of being honest, instead of rebuking both the man and the words, Obama has tried instead to excuse his behaviors, give him a free pass with comments such as:

New York Times-"We don't agree on everything. I've never had a thorough conversation with him about all aspects of politics."

Same Interview on Jeremiah Wright’s 9/11 comments-"The violence of 9/11 was inexcusable and without justification," adding "It sounds like Wright was trying to be provocative."

Justifying Wrights Hate Speech-Obama attributed views to Wright being "a child of the 60s"…"expresses himself in that language of concern with institutional racism, and the struggles the African-American community has gone through."

When Wright’s minions expressed disappointment at Jeremiah Wright not giving the invocation the day Obama announced his run for the Presidency, Obama’s campaign issued a quick statement to the press wherein Senator Obama claims to be PROUD OF HIS PASTOR, and his church. Sorry, but the two positions do not jive…the invite was revoked because senior staff knew Wright could kill Obama’s Campaign before it ever got off the launching pad, and this fact again makes Obama’s claimed ignorance a lie. Despite apparent staff warnings, Obama if anything has been reluctant to put distance between himself and Jeremiah Wright.

In June, Obama was appearing before a conference of religious leaders. Wright appeared in a videotaped introduction.

One of Obama's campaign themes alleges conservative evangelicals have "hijacked" Christianity, ignoring poverty, AIDS, and racism…a core pillar of Jeremiah’s hate speeches.

In an effort to build consensus between his new politics and faith, Obama's campaign launched a new Web page, www.faith.barackobama.com that prominently featured a testimonial from Jeremiah Wright, which drew a quick rebuke from the Catholic League wherein the organizations President Bill Donohue stated Obama knew his spiritual advisor was so divisive that his inclusion could cloud the ceremonies, further nothing that Wright has “has a record of giving racially inflammatory sermons and has even said that Zionism has an element of ‘white racism.' He also blamed the attacks of 9/11 on American foreign policy."

This letter from Bill Donahue is irrefutable proof that Barack Obama is lying when he claims no previous knowledge of Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s hate speech. Is absolute proof that Obama has an inability to exercise good judgment when it comes to the company he keeps, the people he chooses to be in his personal circle of mentors. The facts are simple…to have a real chance at winning the Democratic Nomination Barack Obama has to carry the black vote by a overwhelming majority. To do that, he has place political practicality ahead of his morals. Rebuking Jeremiah Wright, severing his ties with both the man and the church would lose Obama something he desperately needs if he is to attain his goal…both Wright, and the activist African American church and the help, money and support they bring to his campaign and his staff. Problem is, that choice if it continues will not only haunt Barack Obama, but the entire Democratic Party, as the Republicans will use that choice to destroy the man in the General Election.

Both Wright and Barack know this, are willing to roll the dice. Wright stated in a quote to the New York Times, "If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me," and "I said it to Barack personally, and he said 'yeah, that might have to happen.'" A calculated gamble…that does not sound like new politics, does not sound like change, but instead politics as usual. Obama refusing to call bigoted racist hate speech what it is, rebuke his friend and mentor because politically, right now during this contentious primary, he needs his help, even if he is a prejudiced bigot. Americans need to ask themselves a serious question, “Can we afford to lose the White House on the gamble of a dreamer spiritually married to a bigot preacher?
